Gemini in Gmail or Superhuman: which should you pick?
Pick Gemini in Gmail if you are on Google Workspace Business Starter or above, or on a Google AI plan, and want summaries, drafts from a prompt and suggested times without leaving Gmail. Pick Superhuman if your bottleneck is speed, you want keyboard shortcuts and a split inbox, or your company runs on Outlook. Pick neither if you want the inbox worked while you are busy.
We make Momo AI, so read our placement of it with that in mind. Prices are from each vendor's own pricing page on 16 October 2026 and change often.
What each one actually is
Gemini in Gmail is built in. Google's Workspace pricing page for India shows it included on Business Starter, Standard and Enterprise but not on the Base plan, and Google's own subscription page lists Gemini in Gmail on AI Plus, AI Pro and AI Ultra. It helps with the email you have open: summarise, draft from a prompt, polish, suggest times. It waits for you to ask.
Superhuman is a new email client that syncs to Gmail or Outlook, sold per member on annual billing. Auto Drafts and Ask AI are on the Business plan. Its homepage describes Auto Drafts as drafts written in your voice and with your context, waiting in a folder.
Price
Gemini in Gmail: Workspace Business Starter is ₹270 per user per month on annual billing and includes it; the ₹99 Base plan does not. Google AI Plus is ₹399 per month, Google AI Pro ₹1,950 per month, and both include Gemini in Gmail. All Google prices here are in rupees and exclude tax.
Superhuman: Starter $25 and Business $33 per member per month, billed annually; monthly figures are not shown in the page text. Billed in US dollars, so Indian buyers pay card conversion charges and GST on top.
Where both stop
Gemini answers when asked. Superhuman makes you faster at doing the work yourself. Neither keeps the list of sent threads with no reply, offers free slots over email and books the pick, or writes to you each morning with the day's drafts ready. [Momo AI](/) does those jobs inside the Gmail you already have, with your tap before every send and recipients chosen by code, not by the model. You can run it alongside Gemini, since its drafts are ordinary Gmail drafts. Limits: Gmail only, no Outlook. See the Gemini in Gmail alternative and Superhuman alternative pages, and why it asks before sending.
