Drafts in your voice

Replies that sound like you, waiting in Gmail Drafts

Every morning the emails that need you arrive with the reply already written, in your tone, your greeting, your sign-off. Open Gmail, read it, press Send. Momo never sends it for you.

Free during early access. Nothing is sent without your tap. Updated 10 October 2026.

How Momo learns your voice

Momo reads up to 25 of your sent emails from the last 180 days, strips the quoted history, and builds a style profile: tone, greeting, sign-off, typical length and habits. It stores style only, encrypted, and rebuilds it every 7 days. You can view, rebuild or reset it in Settings.

What a draft will and won't do

The model writes the body. Code picks the recipients: a reply goes to Reply-To or From only, a follow-up goes to the original To and Cc minus you. The model is not allowed to add links, contacts or facts, and it must not commit you to a decision or a deadline. Where a human would need to decide, it leaves a [placeholder].

  • Saved as a real Gmail draft in the thread, so you send from Gmail with your signature.
  • At most 8 drafts per day, so your Drafts folder never fills with noise.
  • A draft you have not touched in 3 days is removed. One you edited is kept.
  • Threads that already have a draft, automated senders and plain thank-yous are skipped.
  • Ask in chat ("draft a reply to Neha") for an on-demand draft any time.

Why drafts and not autopilot

Tools that send on your behalf win a demo and lose a client. A reply that sounds like you but was never read by you is a liability. Momo's rule is simple: it does the writing, you do the sending. For sends from chat there is a 10-second undo as well.

Control

Nothing leaves without you

Every email and every cancellation shows up as a card first. Edit it, send it, or discard it. Sends wait 10 seconds so you can undo. Everything Momo reads, drafts and sends is on the Activity page.

Questions

How does Momo write in my voice?

From a style profile built on up to 25 of your own sent emails: tone, greeting, sign-off, length and habits. Style only, stored encrypted, rebuilt weekly.

Does it send the drafts?

Never. Drafts wait in Gmail Drafts until you press Send. The autoDrafts setting turns the feature off entirely.

Will it make things up?

The model is instructed not to add facts, links or contacts and to leave [placeholders] for anything it cannot know. Recipients are chosen by code, not the model.

Which Gmail permission does this need?

gmail.compose, to save drafts. If you connected before that permission was added, Momo asks you to reconnect.
