Clara or Calendly: which should you pick?
Pick Calendly for inbound: a public booking page, round-robin on Teams, payments on Standard and up, and calendars on Google, Outlook and Office 365. Pick Clara when the other person should never see a link: you CC Clara, it proposes times, handles every reply and confirms the meeting, on Google Workspace or Outlook and Exchange. Pick neither if you want the email method from your own Gmail address with approval.
We make Momo AI, so read our placement of it with that in mind. Prices are from each vendor's own pricing page on 16 October 2026 and change often.
What each one actually is
Calendly is a booking page. The free plan gives one event type, one connected calendar, one-on-one scheduling and a customisable page. Standard adds payments through Stripe and PayPal and six connected calendars; Teams adds round-robin and lead routing; Enterprise starts at $15,000 a year with a 50-seat minimum.
Clara is a scheduling assistant with its own email address. Its site says: CC Clara once, she reads the thread, proposes times, handles every reply and confirms the meeting. It also says there is no manual review or human in the loop, and that it follows up when needed. It works with Google Workspace and with Microsoft Outlook and Exchange.
Price
Calendly: Free; Standard $10 per seat per month and Teams $16 per seat per month on yearly billing; monthly-billing figures are not shown in the page text. Enterprise from $15,000 a year.
Clara: a free 14-day trial with 5 meetings and no card; Standard $80 per month for 30 meetings; Enterprise on request.
Both bill in US dollars, so Indian buyers pay card conversion charges and GST on top.
Where both stop
Calendly asks the other person to fit into your page. Clara runs the thread for you, but from its own address and with nobody reviewing before it sends. [Momo AI](/) is the third way: you say "book 30 minutes with Rahul next week", it checks Google Calendar, drafts an email offering 2 to 4 free slots in your voice from your own Gmail address, and waits for your tap. A clear pick is booked with a Google Meet link; anything unclear comes back to you. It also drafts replies, tracks follow-ups and promises, and briefs you each morning. Limits: Google Calendar and Gmail only, no public booking page. See scheduling by email, the Clara alternative and the Calendly alternative.
