Inbox Zero or Fyxer: which should you pick?
Pick Inbox Zero if you want to see the code, want the option to self-host, and want Reply Zero's list of emails waiting on you and people you should nudge, plus unsubscribe and cold-email tools. Pick Fyxer if you want the smoothest drafts-in-your-tone experience across Gmail and Outlook and meeting recordings from the same vendor. Pick neither if you want meetings booked over email with approval.
We make Momo AI, so read our placement of it with that in mind. Prices are from each vendor's own pricing page on 16 October 2026 and change often.
What each one actually is
Inbox Zero is an open-source AI email assistant for Gmail and Outlook, with a hosted version at getinboxzero.com and a self-hosting CLI in its GitHub repository. Its pricing table lists drafts in your voice, cold-email blocking, bulk unsubscribe and pre-meeting briefings. Reply Zero tracks what you need to reply to and who to follow up with, and leaves AI-drafted replies in Gmail or Outlook, ready to send or customise.
Fyxer is a closed overlay for Gmail and Outlook. On Pro and above it labels mail and drafts replies in your tone; its FAQ says you decide what gets sent. It records and summarises meetings and drafts the follow-up.
Price
Inbox Zero: Starter $20, Plus $35 and Professional $50 per month with the annual toggle selected; the FAQ says annual billing saves up to 20 percent, and monthly figures are not shown in the page text. The email app itself is free to use and the AI plans include a 7-day free trial.
Fyxer: Free plan with 400 credits a month and no drafting or sorting; Pro $37 per month billed annually or $49 monthly; Team $64 annual or $99 monthly; 14-day Team trial.
Both bill in US dollars through a card, so Indian buyers pay conversion charges and GST on top.
Where both stop
Both leave drafts in your inbox for you to send, which is the right default. Inbox Zero goes further than Fyxer on tracking replies owed. Neither offers free slots in a normal email and books the one picked, and neither emails you a morning brief with the day's drafts ready. [Momo AI](/) does both inside Gmail, tracks promises in both directions, and stops every send at an approval card with a 10-second undo. Limits: Gmail only, not open source, no Outlook. See the Inbox Zero alternative and Fyxer alternative pages.
