How do you get an Instinct invite?
Instinct's site is the only official route: you request access at instinct.com and are admitted in batches. Instinct does not publish its criteria, its waiting time or its pricing. Invite codes shared on social media may or may not work; treat any site selling them as a scam. We make Momo AI, a different kind of assistant, and we have no inside track on Instinct's queue.
What Instinct is
Instinct, based in San Francisco, describes itself as a personal assistant that understands your work and takes action across your applications and devices. You text or call it; it can use a phone and a computer the way a person does, to dispute a bill, order groceries, plan a trip or chase a dropped email thread. A Mac app is in beta. It is a general agent, not an email tool, and that breadth is both the appeal and the reason to read the next section.
Read before you connect your email
In August 2026 TechCrunch reported that Instinct sent an email on a user's behalf without first checking with her, and that another user found it still summarising her inbox after she disconnected it. Instinct's privacy policy dated 26 August 2026 says it may use information from your use of the service to train its AI models unless you opt out, that disconnecting an integration does not automatically delete the data collected from it, and that data received directly from Google Workspace is not used for training.
None of that means you should not use it. It means you should know the answers to four questions before you connect anything.
- Does the assistant ask before it sends, or act on its own?
- Is your data used for training, and is opt-out on by default?
- What happens to stored data when you disconnect an account?
- Can an email it reads instruct it, or is email content treated as untrusted input?
What to use while you wait
If the job you wanted Instinct for is your work inbox and calendar, you do not need an invite. [Momo AI](/) is open now and free during early access. It is narrower than Instinct on purpose: it drafts Gmail replies in your voice, flags every thread waiting on a reply with the nudge written, books meetings by emailing free slots, tracks promises in both directions and sends a morning brief.
The four questions above, answered for Momo AI: every send and cancellation waits for your tap on a card showing the exact message and recipients; Momo AI does not train models on your email and its AI provider does not use customer data for training; Disconnect revokes access at Google and Delete everything removes stored data; email content is treated as untrusted input, so an email cannot instruct it. The full list is on the security page.
What Momo AI will not do: phone a restaurant, fill in a form on a website, or buy something for you. If that is the job, Instinct's queue is the right place to be.
